The Coral Springs Festival of the Arts is proud to announce Martin Karadzhov as the 2024 Signature Artist. The winning entry is an oil on canvas painting entitled “Rock n′ Roll” which depicts an electric guitarist exploding from a dynamic background of abstract paint splashes. The feeling of music is expressed in the intensity of the colors and the texture of the paint. When asked about the meaning of the butterflies within the piece, Karadzhov stated, “The two colorful butterflies are symbols of the beauty and grace ofthe music he (the musician) created. They are flying and fluttering around him like the sound of guitar stringsunder his fingers and the hurricane of his romantic musical emotions.”
